PlatinumGames dates the release of The Wonderful 101 remaster for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC

Studio Platinum games revealed regional remaster release dates The Wonderful 101. On May 19 of this year, an updated version of the former Wii U-exclusive will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam) in North America, on May 22 it will reach the European continent and later (June 11) will drop in Japan. The game is available for pre-order in all major retailers.

On all the mentioned platforms, the remaster will be available both on physical media and in digital form at a price of 40 US dollars. The game will support the choice between English and Japanese voice acting, as well as receive subtitles in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

The Wonderful 101 was originally released on the Wii U in 2013. Not so long ago, PlatinumGames and Director Hideki Kamiya announced about the launch of the Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the development of a remaster. Project was funded by after just a couple of hours, and at the moment, 8 days before the end of the campaign, the counter has exceeded the mark of 1.75 million US dollars. PlatinumGames is already told about the technical features of the remaster and about plans by adding new content to the updated version. In addition, the Japanese studio expressed a desire to release continuation of The Wonderful 101. On the eve of the studio announced development of the new game Project G.G.
