Fresh sales data continues to flow The Last of Us: Part II – the novelty topped the weekly retail charts of Germany and Japan.
According to GfK, the sequel The Last of Us set a sales record for 2023, making the past week as a whole the largest for Germany in the first six months. The Naughty Dog game took the first two positions of the weekly chart: in the first place is the standard edition, and in the second – the special one.
In Japan, due to total dominance Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sony’s new product failed to reach the same heights, but The Last of Us: Part II also topped the weekly charts with a circulation of almost 180 thousand copies in the first 72 hours.
Among PS4 exclusives, “One of Us” has the third place in the overall rating – only a remake ahead Final Fantasy VII and Death stranding.
