Official: Xbox Version of NieR: Automata Added with Better Optimizations to Game Pass for PC

This was confirmed by a Polish studio on its Facebook page. QLOC, whose experts were responsible for transferring the game from the Xbox console to the Microsoft Store on PC… The developers clarified that upon request PlatinumGames Additional enhancements have been made to the new version, including borderless operation, support for high dynamic range (HDR) and AMD FidelityFX image enhancement technologies, and a user interface adapted for 4K resolution.

Unlike the Game of the YoRHa edition from Steam, the version of NieR: Automata featured in Game Pass on PC is more streamlined and lacks problems regarding frame rate, resolution and freezes in cut scenes, which was immediately noticed by gamers who managed to get acquainted with the game by subscription. However, some unresolved issues still remain. In particular, the 60 FPS limit has not disappeared anywhere.

Whether Square Enix is ​​going to update the Steam version of Automata in the same way is currently unknown.
