Commercial Break: Electronic Arts Files Patent for New In-Game Advertising System

Publisher Electronic Arts registered a patent for a new in-game advertising system that allows users to present offers about goods and services within the digital space.

According to the patent description, the system will determine the moments when the user stops actively interacting with the game, after which advertising information should appear on the screen, which can take the form of text, a short video, a sound signal or a standard banner
