Yesterday Nioh 2 released on Steam, where it showed surprisingly vigorous results – at its peak in 24 hours, almost 40 thousand people played it, which for the publisher Koei Tecmo absolute record.
For comparison, the original Nioh on Steam it launched much more modestly – 10 thousand people at its peak.
Moreover, the sequel showed such a good start even despite the unsuccessful port: now the PC version is actively criticized for instability, freezes and freezes, but most of all people are dissatisfied with the controls on the keyboard and mouse – the studio even left icons from gamepads.
“This is the first game where I could not go beyond the menu, having lost in an exciting battle “guess, bl ****, which button on the keyboard mouse to press.” A well-deserved thumbs down for the repeated boorish attitude towards PC users“.
Many people notice that all the problems of the original Nioh for PC have been “carefully” transferred to the sequel. Everything that people are complaining about now is, in general, relevant for the original.
35% of the reviews for the game were negative – mostly related to technical problems.
On PS4 and PS5, where the game is also available, there are no such problems.
