PES testing for the next generation of consoles will take place in mid-2021, and release in the fall of that year. Apparently, Konami’s next-gen football will be tried before the release.
PES in 2013 switched to the FOX engine, which was originally created for Metal Gear Solid V. During this time, on the basis of technology managed to release seven parts of the simulator.
