Nintendo has stopped selling Super Mario 3D All-Stars – the Internet staged a “funeral” for Mario

Company Nintendo announced the discontinuation of sales of a collection of platformers Super Mario 3D All-Stars (our review) for console Nintendo Switch in digital format. In retail stores around the world, it will still be possible to buy cartridges, but only until the stock runs out – there will be no new deliveries from the platform holder.

Nintendo previously explained that it has decided to release Super Mario 3D All-Stars for a limited time to make the 35th anniversary celebration more memorable.… However, no celebration goes on forever, and the collection of classic platformers, respectively, also decided not to sell on an ongoing basis.

Nintendo also shut down servers on the night of April 1 Super Mario Bros. 35 and removed this Super Mario Anniversary game from the eShop.

The official Japanese retail store, Nintendo, based in Tokyo, simultaneously stopped selling 35th Anniversary Super Mario merchandise and removed the remaining cartridges from the shelves.

In the past, Nintendo has already practiced releasing games in limited quantities and for a specific period of time.
