Japan National Broadcasting Company NHK published interim results of a large anime poll Evangelion.
So far, according to a survey in the category “The best character”, the top looks like this:
- fourth place: Shinji Ikari;
- fifth place: Misato Katsuragi;
- sixth place: Marie Mackinami Illustrious;
- seventh place: Ryoji Kaji;
- eighth place: Pen-Pen;
- ninth place: Gendo Ikari;
- tenth place: Maya Ibuki.
“The best phrase”:
- eleventh place: “Father! I’m the pilot of Eva-01, Shinji Ikari! ”- Shinji Ikari in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance;
- fifteenth place: “This is funny. I was born to meet you, ”- Kavoru Nagisa in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo;
- eighteenth place: “Bathing is a wash of life,” – Misato Katsuragi in Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone.
Voting will last until April 29th. Results will be announced May 16th.
Recall that the fourth and final film Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon A Time was postponed indefinitely due to concerns about COVID-19 and its distribution inside and outside of Japan. The premiere of the picture was to take place on June 27.
