New PlayStation 5 commercials indicate Horizon: Forbidden West is still scheduled to release in 2023

Russian journalist Anton Logvinov, who first announced the PC version of Horizon: Zero Dawn, recently hinted on Twitter that a sequel to the game may not be released this year, but a new ad Playstation 5 refutes this.

In one of the videos that was posted on Instagram (pictured below), Horizon: Forbidden West was mentioned with a date for the end of 2023, and another posted on IGN indicates that the game will be released in the second half of the year… The latest video also includes a release date. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, whose release was recently scheduled for June 11, which indicates the relevance of the information presented in it.

Last week, in a conversation with GQ, the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan officially confirmed the transfer Gran turismo 7 for 2023. In the same interview, he noted that he was confident about other games planned for 2023, including Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon: Forbidden West, but stressed that the company would not sacrifice quality and would not hesitate to postpone them if the situation will require it.

“There have been some pretty high-profile cases in history where publishers have tried the first approach. We’ve always taken the second.”

At the same time, during communication with reporters, Ryan never remembered a new part God of war, which is also announced for the current year. Because of this, there are already rumors that the game could be postponed after GT7.
