Agency Analyst NPD Mad Piscatella unveiled the latest lists of the most successful games for Playstation 4, Xbox one and Nintendo switch in the USA. The rating was compiled on the basis of data on sales revenue in dollar terms and contains actual statistics at the end of February.
On the PlayStation 4 chart, only two games are exclusive. it Spider-man (# 7th place) and God of war (# 9th place). The top lines are occupied by hits from Rockstar Games, Grand theft auto v and red Dead redemption ii, and shooter Call of Duty: WWII from Activision.
There’s only one Microsoft exclusive on the Xbox One list – Halo 5: Guardians in 12th place. Otherwise, the leaders are the same as on the PlayStation 4.
As for the Nintendo Switch, there are 18 positions out of 20 occupied by exclusive Nintendo games. First place in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Two more lines are occupied Minecraft from Microsoft, distributing in retailers which also helps Nintendo, and Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle from Ubisoft.
Nintendo’s digital sales are not counted – only retail.
