Nadir Kickstarter Campaign Canceled One Day Before Final

A month ago studio Shockwork Games rendered on Kickstarter squad role-playing game Nadir based on “Divine Comedy“Dante. But crowdfunding was not destined to end with success: the day before the final, the developers canceled the campaign.

The reason for this decision is simple: for the success of the studio, it was required to raise about 36 thousand dollars. However, only slightly more than 6,000 were not counted. Nevertheless, the creators of Nadir thanked everyone who tried to support them, and assured that they had a plan.

Although the campaign was not successful, it opened up new opportunities for developers. They have been contacted by a number of publishers and are under negotiation with some of them. We may soon hear some good news.

In the meantime, the studio has updated the demo version of Nadir, adding the ability to customize the deck, simple pumping and a new type of trophies. In addition, new cards have appeared in the game, and their description has been made clearer, including using a system of keywords.
Shockwork Games is going to take part in the festival Steamwhich starts on June 16th. In the meantime, everyone who wishes well to the creators of Nadir is asked to add the game to their wishlist.
