Online newspaper Observer published updated information about the film version Netflix anime Cowboy Bebop. The publication spoke with screenwriter and executive producer Jeff Pinkner.
The production of the first season was suspended in New Zealand after a knee injury to lead actor John Cho in October. And now the project is frozen due to a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Pinkner said staff and actors want to return to production as soon as possible. He added that the duration of one episode of the project allows them to:
“Tell stories in detail in this world in a way that, we hope, will not only please fans of anime, but also open up a whole bunch of new people to the world of“ Cowboy Bebop ″. Awesome work by Yoko Kanno. ”
Also, even though the first season has not yet come the second one is already planned.
