According to the estimates of the analytical firm Sensor tower, Nintendo earned more than a billion dollars worldwide on her mobile games. At the same time, six mobile games companies downloaded a total of 452 million times in App store and Google play.
As you can see from the graph below, most of Nintendo’s revenue Fire emblem heroes ($ 656 million, or 61%), and close the top three Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp ($ 131 million, or 12%) and Dragalia lost ($ 123 million, or 11%).
The Sensor Tower notes that mobile games about the cult plumber Mario brought Nintendo the least money. However, two of them lead in the number of downloads: Super mario run – 244 million times (54%), and Mario kart tour – 144 million times (32%).
The most successful market for the company was Japan. Residents of the Land of the Rising Sun spent $ 581 million (54%) in Nintendo mobile games. In second place are users from the United States – 316 million dollars (29%).
