Next month will be two large presentations at once: one from Ubisoft and another from Microsoft. In anticipation of the events, network users drew attention to the appearance on Twitter of stubs to three new accounts of popular game series, including Prince of persia, Fable and Perfect dark.
Account registered in May this year Prince of persia closed and has no publications yet. It is possible that in the light of a large number of false rumors regarding the return of “Prince of Persia,” the created account is another fake, but if you try to recover the password from this account, you can see the email address to which it is registered (pr*******************@u******.***)
The name of the mailbox starts with “pr” and contains 20 characters, 14 of which explicitly refer to the name of the franchise (princeofpersia) and six more to the possible subtitle of the new game in the series. As for the domain name, it’s most likely hidden under the asterisks ubisoft.com – Other official Ubisoft Twitter accounts are registered to mail with exactly the same domain.
Discovered Prince of Persia Account:
And for example, the Rainbow Six Siege account:
As is the case with Prince of Persia, page Fable hidden from prying eyes and does not contain a single entry. When you try to reset the password, you can also find the e-mail through which the account was registered (fa*************@m********.*** ) Judging by the domain, the page belongs to Microsoft itself and later it was confirmed by the head of the marketing department Xbox Aaron Greenberg.
According to Greenberg, the Fable and Perfect Dark profiles on Twitter have been inactive for many years and existed solely for the purpose of protecting IP, which is very strange since they were registered very recently: in March and June of this year, respectively. Moreover, it turned out that despite Greenberg’s statement, the account Perfect dark was registered by a fan who, after the Fable news, discovered that the game did not have its own page.
I know everyone is hungry for news, but sorry to get your hopes up. These accounts have been inactive for years, it’s standard practice to secure social handles for our IP.

Immediately after creating the page, the creative director subscribed to it. Xbox Game Studios and one of the developers of the original Perfect Dark Ken Lobbbut for what purpose is unknown. As the creator of the account noted, Lobb would hardly have started doing this without further plans for the franchise, so there is a chance that the new Perfect Dark is still under development. Account Author also reportedthat if necessary, I’m ready to abandon it in favor of Microsoft and apologized to all fans of the franchise.
“I created this account after I heard about the Fable page and noticed that Perfect Dark didn’t have it. Soon after, I received a subscription request from Ken Lobb and decided to accept it. I doubt that he would have done it if they [Microsoft] didn’t work on something. “
“After I accepted Ken’s request, I sent him a message saying that I’d be happy to give up this profile if they need it [Microsoft]. I did not think it would reach Greenberg. Sorry to disappoint you all [фанатов]. I’m just an ordinary guy who got this page. “
The conference Ubisoft forward kicks off July 12th at 22:00 Moscow time. Microsoft’s July show doesn’t have an exact date yet, but as specified publication editor Windows Central Jez Corden, you should not expect an event at the beginning of the month.
Don’t expect the Xbox event in early July btw.
