Microsoft stops producing Xbox One X and Xbox One S without a drive – review

True, only Xbox One X and Xbox One S without a drive will be discontinued, while the standard Xbox One S will still be available in stores around the world. During the pandemic, sales of consoles increased markedly, but in the coming months, according to the company, consoles will still be available in retail.

The most powerful console of the current generation, Xbox One X, went on sale less than three years ago, in November 2017, while the “digital” Xbox One S was released a little over a year ago – in April 2019.

Now Microsoft is preparing to launch next-generation consoles – the Xbox Series X for 4K gaming and, if you believe the leaks, the Xbox Series S for 1080p displays. The latter should be announced in August.
