As explained by the head of the studio inXile Entertainment Brian Fargo, the developers were satisfied with the results of the beta test Wasteland 3. At the same time, team members were transferred to homework, which created a number of difficulties. There were also problems with logistics.

In this regard, an agreement was reached with Microsoft publishers and Deep silver on postponing the release date of the game from May 19 to August 28, 2023. The developers will spend additional time analyzing the feedback of beta testers and final polishing of the project.

Because of the coronavirus, studios have also revised their schedules Mojang and Double eleventhat complete the development of Minecraft Dungeons. Initially, the game was supposed to be released in April, but now the release was postponed to May 26.
