Mario has grown to 1080p – Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury platformer technical features revealed

Switch will be released in less than two weeks Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – An improved and expanded version of the original 3D World with Wii U with new content and features. While working on the re-release, the authors added increased running speed to the game, a completely new adventure Bowser’s Fury, as well as a previously unavailable co-op for 4 people for stages as Captain Toad.

The technical component was not ignored either. Recent previews from Eurogamer and Gamereactor, in honesty, it turned out that on Nintendo Switch the game retained 60 FPS, but at the same time works in a higher resolution: 1080p (TV) and 720p (portable) versus 720p / 480p on Wii U

True, this only applies to the basic Super Mario 3D World, while for Bowser’s Fury the resolution, according to journalists, in both cases will be 720p with a difference in frame rates: 60 FPS when docked with a docking station and 30 FPS in a portable… Other differences between the two modes are not specified.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will be released on February 12th.
