Publisher My.Games (subdivision Mail.ru Group) and Polish studio The farm 51 talked about the status of the development of a multiplayer shooter World war 3… They dedicated a separate video to the numerous changes.
World War 3 can be called a “killer” Battlefied. The Farm 51 offers large-scale battles (20v20), in which soldiers take part NATO and Russia.
Game released in Steam early access in the fall of 2018, however, the release was unsuccessful due to numerous bugs and optimization problems. World War 3 received a lot of negative reviews, and player activity remained extremely low.
However, The Farm 51 was able to interest investors in the person of My.Games. Therefore, in August 2023, the sale of World War 3 in Steam has been suspended. It was also announced that the shooter will henceforth be distributed according to the F2P model.
Then the developers went into radio silence, which was interrupted on July 14. According to their statements, the game has received numerous improvements that have affected the graphics, balance and gameplay. The trailer uses recordings of matches with the participation of testers.
