Company Warner Bros. Animation and portal IGN posted a one-minute excerpt from an upcoming animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms (“Mortal Kombat Legends: Clash of the Worlds“), continuing the story of last year “Scorpio’s Revenge“.
The video shows a scene in which Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade are surrounded by a detachment of Tarkatans led by Kitana, next to which are Reiko and Kintaro. However, Liu Kang and personally the god of thunder Raiden come to the aid of the defenders of the Earth Kingdom, after which a fierce battle takes place.
The premiere of the new animated “Mortal Kombat” will take place August 31 in digital services and physical media.
