Square enix together with Life is Strange: True Colors presented a large-scale remaster of the first part and the prequel Before the storm – they will be released in the fall as part of a special collection.
The key innovation of the updated versions of both games will be new animation – it is recorded from scratch using full motion capture, thanks to which it will become much more accurate. The originals had particular problems with speech and movement synchronization.
In addition, the general level of graphics has been significantly improved – the character and environment models, as well as the lighting technique. Otherwise, these are the same games.
The collection will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC – starting September 10, buyers of the Ultimate Life is Strange: True Colors will get access to it, and later the collection will be available for purchase separately. Owners of the originals will have to buy the project separately – even without a discount.
