Hardcore RPG Sales Niohfinally exceeded the mark in 3,000,000 copies. To achieve this result, the authors took almost three years. In January, the total circulation was around 2.95 million. The hype surrounding the sequel helped to overcome the landmark line of the project. Nioh 2which goes to Playstation 4 already March 13.
The studio thanked hardcore gamers for their attention to Nioh and noted that they tried to make the second part in everything better than the original, starting from reviews.
“We will continue to try for you,” the report said.
The success of Nioh was a landmark for Team Ninja. The game came out five years after the failure Ninja Gaiden 3.
The team has already stated that it intends to continue the tradition of creating new IPs for new hardware. On the Playstation 5 Studio wants launch a brand new franchise. No information about her yet.
