Green Hell: The Board Game is a cooperative survival board game. The main character is Jake, known to all fans of the computer game, who got stuck in the Amazon forest in search of his lost wife and is now trying to survive in this harsh and unpleasant environment.

All players are members of the search and rescue team, whose sole task is to locate and return the hero. Each of them has a specific set of skills that will prove essential to the fate of the entire party. Survival Expert, Medic, Guide and Scientist – only well-coordinated cooperation will allow you to successfully complete the mission.

The authors of Green Hell: The Board Game promise players a new level of unpredictability in gameplay, which will be achieved through an innovative system of continuously generated jungle based on a modular, pseudo-random map. The jungle awaiting the rescue squad and its secrets will randomly change every time you and your friends start the game, making each playthrough unique.

The developers emphasize that they have made every effort to translate the core mechanics from the Green Hell video game, such as using the backpack, building and collecting resources, into a board game format. Thus, the complex and painstaking process of survival, so characteristic of the original, will be recreated.

The game consists of four character cards, over one hundred and 100 cards that are card elements, 154 polyomino elements needed to craft equipment, over 230 other cards and tokens, as well as 14 dice and turrets for generating rolls. The basic set costs around € 100, but it can be expanded with add-ons such as a unique creepy dice tree or inserts to store game items.
