The update will be available to all owners of the PC version of the game already July 1, 2023 and a little later this year will be released on consoles.
According to the official description, Shared Horizons pays tribute to the enormous contribution of the European Space Agency to space exploration. All space owners will receive an update completely free.
Shared Horizons will bring two historic missions successfully completed by Europe’s leading aerospace agency, as well as the famous rocket “Arian 5“, a suit with the ESA logo for Kerbalas, new details and new experiments that players will have to bring to life.
First New Mission “BepiColombo“Will allow to recreate a joint project of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), whose goal was to study the planet Mercury. Players will reach the orbit of Mojo (the planet that replaces Mercury in the universe of Karbala), land on the surface and spend several experiments in accordance with the program of the European Space Agency.
The second mission is called “Rosetta“and it is dedicated to the successful landing on the surface of a comet near the orbit of Jupiter, which brought a lot of valuable information about the structure of this celestial body. Both missions repeat real studies of ESA, and players will be able to reproduce them in the Kerbal Space Program to independently appreciate the enormous significance of these exciting moments. .

For PC update Kerbal Space Program: Shared Horizonswill be released on July 1, 2023, and for console versions of the game will appear later that year.
