Jeff Grubb: Dead Space Remake Coming Late 2023 If Development Goes To Plan

Electronic Arts is developing Dead Space as requested by fans. According to GamesBeat, the project will receive the laconic title “Dead Space”, thereby reflecting EA Motive’s desire to create a remake and at the same time relaunch the franchise as a whole.

According to Jeff Grubb, Dead Space is slated for release in the fall of 2023, which means a little over a year is left before the release. Of course, in the ever-changing gaming industry, the timing can be revised. And it’s important to note that EA hasn’t officially announced the exact date yet.

Sources close to the development report that the company is aiming to complete Dead Space in fiscal 2023. So you don’t have to look for the game in financial statements until early next year.

Regardless, Electronic Arts intends to reveal more about Dead Space by the end of 2023. In what form the presentation will take place, Grubb does not know. It can take the form of a trailer posted on YouTube, or a full screening at December’s The Game Awards.

EA itself is in no hurry to give official comments, limiting itself to standard phrases, although it is certainly glad that people are interested in the game.

Dead Space was announced on July 22 during the EA Play Live 2023 broadcast. The project is being developed for the next generation of PCs and consoles.
