Jason Schreier reveals what to expect from The Last of Us remake for PlayStation 5

Earlier today journalist Bloomberg Jason Schreier presented a lot of material about the work of several studios Sony Interactive Entertainment and the company’s desire to release only blockbusters now, which mentioned that Naughty Dog is currently preparing a remake of the first part of The Last of Us for PlayStation 5… The news surprised many users, and later Schreier decided to comment on some of the posts on Twitter.

In particular, responding to one of the readers who called the last month “catastrophic” for Sony in the information space and at the same time expressed a desire to get The Last of Us with the graphics and gameplay of The Last of Us Part II, Schreier confirmed that this is exactly what you should expect from the remake.

The developers will completely update the graphics core of The Last of Us and add to the gameplay features of the gameplay from the second part, which appeared last year on the PlayStation 4.

“This is exactly what you get,” the journalist wrote.

Recall that the story of the first part of The Last of Us will soon also be retold in a television series from the channel HBO, which is being created with the participation of the co-director of Naughty Dog Neela Druckmann and a Russian director Kantemira Balagova

In addition to the remake of The Last of Us, Naughty Dog is working on new part of Uncharted for PlayStation 5, according to Jason Schreier

The original The Last of Us was released in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, and was ported to the PlayStation 4 two years later. It has sold 20 million copies.
