Insider: Microsoft plans a massive Starfield ad campaign this year

During the last episode of the XboxEra podcast, he mentioned that confident in the release of Starfield in 2023, as I heard from my sources that Microsoft has already bought out ad slots for this year, designed to promote the space RPG Bethesda Game Studios

At the same time, the insider noted that his words should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee, since it is not a fact that the project will not be rescheduled at the last minute, as was the case with Halo: Infinite, for which a marketing campaign for 2023 was also prepared, but buying advertising in a pandemic may mean that the company has already taken into account all possible risks.

In March, the editor GamesBeat Jeff Grubb said that Bethesda with 90% probability will show Starfield at the summer presentation, however, no one has yet taken to confirm the release dates from trusted sources. The same Jason Schreier not sure if the game will be released this year at all. He previously warned that due to the pandemic, many of the major titles scheduled for 2023 are under threat of deferral.

Starfield has been actively developing since 2015 and was presented as a teaser at E3 2018. During this time, there were many different rumors about the game, including that the project could become a full-fledged console exclusive for the Xbox and will not appear on the PlayStation.
