Insanity grows stronger: Streamer demanded compensation for the copy of Cyberpunk 2077 won in the competition

After Sony, Microsoft, CD Projekt RED and retail chains have expressed their readiness to issue a full refund to all dissatisfied customers Cyberpunk 2077, The theater of absurdity and insanity began on the Web.

The most common course of action looked like this: a person played the game completely, and then made a refund. Others resented the fact that after issuing a refund, digital copies of Cyberpunk 2077 were “unfairly” removed from their libraries in PSN, Steam and Xbox live

However, the Australian Twitch streamer Rainyday shared the most idiotic story. Back in August 2023, he raffled off a free copy of Cyberpunk 2077 among subscribers. The competition went according to plan, and the winner received his key.

And then the lucky one demanded … compensation from the blogger. As the “outraged client” wrote, he played Cyberpunk 2077 a lot, but cannot issue a refund (apparently, we are talking about the PC version). Therefore, the winner asked Rainyday for a $ 50-100 gift card.

“It will be fair. You owe me something,” wrote the winner of the competition.

Threats followed. The man promised to publicly accuse Rainyday of “cheating” in front of his “audience of 5,000” if the streamer doesn’t give him a gift card.

The blogger did not give in to blackmail and simply posted the correspondence on Twitter. The further reaction of the “lucky one” amused all the Rainyday subscribers.

First, the blackmailer asked the blogger to remove the screenshots, then he apologized and … again demanded to issue a gift card. Along the way, the “client” advised the blogger to post his name on social networks (it was hidden in the correspondence) in order to provide an additional influx of subscribers to the “offended client”.
