“Since you are a Steam developer, you can submit a hardware request and receive a Steam Deck Developer Kit. Fill out the form and be sure to read the agreement and terms of use.”
At the same time, as noted in the publication, now Valve has a limited set of Steam Deck kits for developers, so their consoles will not quickly receive all requests – the company considers each application individually.
According to Valve, all games from Steam will work on the Steam Deck, however, thanks to devkits, most likely, developers will be able to better adapt their works to the hardware of the system.
