Wake Up Chief: Microsoft has revealed the exact release date for Halo 4 on PC

Microsoft and developers at 343 Industries have revealed the exact release date of the remaster Halo 4 on PC. The latest game from The Master Chief Collection will be available to users Steam and Microsoft Store already next week, 17th November

As in the case with other parts, the updated version of the shooter can be bought both as part of the collection and separately from it. Service subscribers Xbox Game Pass will receive free access to the game immediately on the day of release.

Along with the release of Halo 4 on PC, the console version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection will receive an update for Xbox Series X / Swhich will add support for 120 FPS in multiplayer and campaigns on both consoles to each game in the collection, improved split-screen, 4K rendering on Series X, and an option to customize FOV (field of view).

Before leaving Halo: Infinite the fourth Halo will remain the last installment in the series available to PC gamers. Released in 2015 Halo 5: Guardians is still an Xbox One exclusive.
