Huawei is preparing to bring to the market PC on branded processors – Igromania

Huawei intends in the near future to bring to the market the first batch of its desktop computers based on a proprietary processor Kunpeng

The new product is credited with the following specifications:

  • CPU Kunpeng 920 2249K with 24 cores
  • 8GB to 64GB RAM (4 DDR4 slots)
  • SSD 256 or 512 GB
  • Video card Yeston RX 550 on an outdated chip AMD
  • PCIe 4.0 compliant motherboard.

At the same time, it was noted that the processor and video card will be soldered, it will not work to replace them. Of the connectors on the front panel of the PC, three USB-A and one USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headset output, and an optional optical drive are promised. At the back there will be four USB-A ports, an Ethernet jack and a VGA video output.

Also, the computer will be equipped with a monitor with a diagonal of 23.8 inches, covering 70% of the NTSC color gamut and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The operating system will be a Linux-based UOS distribution.

The estimated cost is about $ 1061 (more than 78 thousand rubles). Nothing has been reported about the appearance of new items outside of China.
