For a year now, a whole generation of gamers have been asking Ubisoft to do Assassin’s Creed in a Japanese setting. You just think how cool it would be to be in the role of a samurai or ninja, to explore ancient Japanese culture and to cut opponents with a razor-sharp katana … However, the French company seems to specifically ignore this setting – Victorian London will do, then Ancient Egypt, now it looks at Scandinavia. But who would have thought that the perfect Assassin’s Creed will come out in 2023 … not from Ubisoft! This is exactly what Ghost of Tsushima has become.
