Stone Bricks are a sleeker version of the blocks found underground. They are often used to create elegant structures and structures such as ancient castles and citadels. They can be found in the same castles or mined, however, for a large-scale construction project that will require a large number of bricks, it is better to create them yourself.
How to make various stone blocks and bricks in Minecraft
Stone brick
The easiest way to create a regular stone brick. Crafting it requires four stone blocks placed together in a two by two cube on a workbench. However, stone blocks mined with a pickaxe turn into cobblestone. To obtain clean stone blocks, the cobblestone must be melted in a furnace. Those planning to build a whole castle from these types of blocks need to think about automating the process.
Stone brick slab
In addition to regular stone bricks, stone slabs can be crafted on the workbench. Outwardly, they look like half a stone brick. The slabs are used for the construction of roofs and floors. To craft them in the workbench menu, you need to place three stone bricks in a row. At the exit we get six stone slabs.
Carved stone brick
Carved stone bricks are perfect for decorating your buildings. They can be used to build columns and pillars, as well as to create artistic patterns on floors and walls. To craft carved stone bricks, place two stone brick slabs on the workbench, one on top of the other.
Mossy stone brick
To give our building a more ancient look, mossy stone bricks are suitable. To make it, you need only one stone brick and a vine, but everything is not as simple as it might seem. The fact is that vines grow only in certain places, for example, in the jungle, and they cannot be simply collected. You will need scissors to get them.
Stone brick stairs and walls
As with wooden planks and cobblestones, stone bricks can be used to build stairs and walls. Walls in Minecraft are useful for keeping animals in place, and the usefulness of stairs is self-explanatory. Their craft is no different from their wooden counterparts: for the walls, fill the two lower rows with stone bricks on the workbench, and for the stairs, create a ladder of stone bricks in the cells of the workbench with a descent to the right.
