Horror Saint Kotar passed Kickstarter at 129% - Igromania

Small Croatian studio Red Martyr Entertainment, consisting of four developers, has successfully completed Kickstarter-campaign his debut game, horror Saint Kotar… The planned goal was achieved by 129%, raising 58 thousand dollars.

Thanks to the success of crowdfunding, the game will be released only on PC, but also on the consoles Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Full English voice acting will also be recorded for it and an expansion with a backstory will be prepared. The Russian language is provided initially.

Saint Kotar is a classic 2.5D puzzle game with an emphasis on story and choice. A dark psychological horror set in the hand-drawn world of the small provincial town of Saint-Cotard. The two main characters, Benedek Dohnany and Nikolai Kalyakin, try to investigate a series of brutal murders similar to sacrifices to the devil.

The developers promise more than 70 locations to explore, up to 20 hours of gameplay, a modern approach to point and click mechanics and meaningful decisions that will affect the plot.

Those interested can already get acquainted with the demo version of the game, the prologue Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask… And they plan to release the game on PC in August 2023.
