Guy Ritchie will direct a film about World War II and British operatives

According to Deadline, Guy Ritchie decided to start producing a film about British operatives during World War II.

Richie will also write the script for the tape called “Ministry of Non-Gentlemen’s War” (Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare), which he creates for the studio Paramount

The plot, based on the book of the same name, tells about the formation of a special detachment of British operatives, which appeared at the suggestion of Winston Churchill in 1939. The general idea for the fighters was to abandon the “gentlemanly” rules of battle – instead, they penetrated into the rear of the enemy and interfered with him in all available ways.

At the same time, the participants understood that in the event of disclosure, Britain would deny their existence, and they did not have very many chances of survival. The detachment remained effective throughout the battles of World War II and brought many victories, albeit in “dirty” ways.
