The GamingBolt Portal continues to post chunks of new information about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 from an interview with a PR manager Gsc game world Zakhar Bocharov.
Recently it became known that the second “Stalker” will be a long game, even if you do not get distracted by side quests, and a complete study of the world with all the quests will take several hundred hours. Now another related detail has emerged.
According to Bocharov, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is designed for multiple playthroughs, since in one run it will be “impossible” to open all the story content… A representative of the studio did not go into details, however, it was previously mentioned that the game will offer a non-linear story with a huge number of branches and different endings.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is under development for Xbox Series X | S and PCbut still remains without a release date. In the same interview, Bocharov stated that the game cannot be launched on the old PS4 and Xbox One hardware, and there are currently no plans for a version for the PlayStation 5. However, a Microsoft document recently leaked online suggests that the console exclusivity of the project for the Xbox could be as little as three months.
