Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City source code removed after Take-Two complaint

This month on the site Github published source code Grand theft auto iii and Grand theft auto: vice city, which the enthusiasts managed to get through the so-called reverse engineering. Later the code was used to create ports and modifications.

However, soon after the news appeared in the media, the project’s repository became unavailable. The complaint can now be found on the page Take-Two Interactive, parent company Rockstar games, which demanded to remove the code for copyright infringement.
In conversation with Eurogamer The fan project manager noted that after a complaint, their next project, which started in January, is in limbo. It’s about reverse engineering Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Storieswhich was released in 2005 for the PlayStation Portable.
