Google announced the imminent release of the smartphone Pixel 5a… The mid-range model is an evolution of the A-series. The novelty cannot boast of innovative solutions, instead offering everything the same, but more and better.
Pixel 5a is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, has an OLED display with a Full HD + resolution increased from 5.8 to 6.34 inches, as well as a larger 4680 mAh battery, compared to the 3140 mAh in the previous generation.
The smartphone is protected from moisture and dust according to IP67 standard – this is the first case of moisture protection of A-series devices. The rest of the novelty completely repeats its predecessor.
Pixel is renowned for its quality footage, and the 5a is no exception. The smartphone is equipped with a dual camera, including a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The novelty supports 5G networks with sub-6GHz technology. However, unlike the Pixel 4a, it won’t include mmWave 5G or C-band at launch.
The Google Pixel 5a is currently available for pre-order in the US and Japan. The premiere is scheduled for August 26 at a price of $ 449.
The Pixel 5a will be the last smartphone to be bundled with a charging adapter from Google.
