In my time Google experimented with Chrome duet – by placing some browser buttons on the bottom panel. And although this was not included in the release, it seems that corporations did not completely abandon the idea.
In the beta version of Chrome 84, a lower panel has appeared, which contains icons of open web pages, which makes it easier to switch between them. By default, this function is turned off, to activate it, go to the address chrome: // flags / # enable-con-conditional-strip and enable it, and then restart the browser.
This layout looks more convenient, because it allows you to switch between tabs without swipes. And there is a “+” sign to open the page. Although traditional instruments are also present.
It is expected that a new feature will appear in the release in a couple of weeks.
