What will please Nintendo NSO subscribers in May – look at a selection of new free games for Switch

Company Nintendo announced that this month the subscribers of the service Nintendo Switch Online will receive four more games. May update includes one project for NES and three for SNES.

The game for NES is a mythical action Rygar, and additions to SNES became a cult sci-fi shooter in the setting of the Wild West Wild guns and top down shooter Operation logic bomb.

The most notable game from the list turned out to be Panel de pon, which at one time never came out in the West, at least not in its original form. This is a classic SNES puzzle created by the legendary Humpei Yokoi, but outside of Japan the game was called Tetris attackand her fantasy anime style has been replaced by Nintendo characters from Yoshi.

Gameplay Panel de Pon had nothing to do with Tetris, and subsequent games were released in the West under the name Puzzle league and included crossovers with other Nintendo franchises, like Pokémon, Animal crossing and Dr. Mario. Thus, the Switch-version of Panel de Pon will allow most Western gamers to see for the first time where the series began.

All four projects will be available on Nintendo Switch Online from May 20.
