For Half-Life: Source a new modification has been released that allows you to go through the entire story campaign of a shooter with a portable device for creating portals (or just a portal gun) from another cult game of the company Valve – Portal.
In the published video, the author of the modification Half-Life: Source – Portal Edition under the nickname NOAHakaVOSEN showed how the portal gun works in the hands of Gordon Freeman.
For the mod to work, availability Half-life 2 and Source SDK Base 2007, after installing which you need to download the archive of files hl1_portal.rarand then open it and unzip it into a folder sourcemods. After that, you need to exit the client Steam and restart it, as a result of which Half-Life: Source – Portal Edition should appear in the library.
