Former God of War and Mass Effect designer joins Wasteland 3 developers

Former senior combat scene designer God of War and lead creature designer Mass Effect Dean Rymer joined the studio inXile Entertainment, which became part of Microsoft in 2018.

On the eve of Rymer tweeted a message in which he announced the start of his work in the studio owned by Microsoft. IN inXile Entertainment he took the position of lead designer of battle scenes – he played the same role for six years in Sony Santa Monica Studio before joining Austin’s Bioware studio.

inXile is working hard on its new post-apocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 3scheduled for release May 19 in PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions.

Microsoft and founder inXile Entertainment Brian Fargo announced about the studio deal in November 2018. Fargo earlier statedthat with the support of Microsoft inXile will be able to keep up with the growing cost of development and will make even greater progress. In addition, the development team expects for many years to work on the series Wasteland under the wing of a large corporation.
