First City, World Levels and Gameplay – review

Developers Outriders from People Can Fly and Square Enix held a large demonstration of the role-playing action movie, telling and showing several features of the project at once.

Introduced familiar to the players The division a system of “world levels”, which allows you to flexibly adjust the level of complexity for yourself. At Outriders, raising the level of peace increases the health and level of enemies, as well as the damage they deal.

The higher the level of the world, the more rewards players will receive, but the more difficult the passage will be. Interested only in the plot, you can turn on the minimum complexity and find out the whole story.

The levels of the world can be changed on the fly depending on your own desires.

Then the developers showed a highly customizable interface: each player will be able to customize it for themselves, removing unnecessary elements or vice versa putting everything on display.

You can turn off all the icons and get a “cinematic experience”.

The next 9-minute video is dedicated to one of the four classes – Trickster. This is a dodger who can manipulate time to his advantage.

In addition, Outriders originally borrowed a treatment system from restarting DOOM: health is replenished only when killing enemies, and with Trickster it only happens in close proximity to opponents.

At the same time, classes have 8 active skills. In a fresh video of Trickster showed only half of them. All of them are tied to manipulating time – slowing down enemies, temporarily replenishing armor and even teleporting.

At the end, they left a 5-minute gameplay segment for Pyroman in the First City:

12 minute show
