According to the Directors Guild of Canada, the series was filmed based on The last of us should start on July 5th.
Production will take 11 months, ending June 8, 2023 – filming will take place in the Canadian city of Calgary. The director of the first episodes is Kantemir Balagov (“Dylda”), and the script is being done Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”) and Neil Druckmann… The plot itself adapts the main story of the game, but it will also have new elements.
Main roles Joel and Ellie will execute Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) and Bella Ramsay (“Game of Thrones”).
There is no exact date for the premiere of the project yet, but judging by the deadline for filming, it will take place closer to the end of 2023 or later.
