Fan remake of Tomb Raider 2 on Unreal Engine 4 is alive and shown in new screenshots

Fan-made remake of the action adventure Tomb raider 2 was announced back in 2016, but fresh information about it appears quite rarely. However, the enthusiast under the nickname Nicobass is still working on the project, as evidenced by a fresh selection of screenshots posted on the developer’s official Twitter account.

New images show updated butler model Winston Jeeves, as well as the very tomb raider who is studying the family estate. All screenshots, as noted by Nicobass, were taken in photo mode

Tomb Raider 2 remake titled Tomb Raider: The Dagger of Xian created on the basis of the engine Unreal Engine 4 and was approved by the team Crystal dynamics… In June 2019, Nicobass announced that he did not plan to redo the entire game, limiting himself only to the complete completion of the Great Wall and Croft Manor levels. Whether the author’s plans have changed since then is unknown.

Currently, players can download a free demo of the remake, where you can evaluate about an hour of gameplay at the location with the Great Wall of China.
