Company Sony announced the opening of the exhibition Experience playstationto celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand Playstation. It is reported that the event will be held until February 16 in the building Sony Square NYC in New York where visitors can try out games for Playstation 4 and Playstation VR.

From 2014 to 2017, Sony held events in the USA with a similar name – PlayStation Experience, which opened with conferences with the announcement of new games. In 2018, Sony Interactive Entertainment chairman Sean Leiden announced that the company plans to abandon the event due to the lack of high-profile projects for display at that time. In 2019, the company also canceled the show due to lack of material.
PlayStation Meeting, at which Sony introduced the eighth-generation PlayStation 4 console, was held in New York on February 20, 2013.
