According to preliminary plans, the premiere Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time was supposed to take place back in June of this year, but the global pandemic and its attendant limitations and difficulties forced the authors of the picture to shift the screening of the expected film.
Exit Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time in wide release marks the formal end of the compilation Rebuild of Evangelion, which started back in 2007 and is a remake of the legendary classic anime.
