Company Electronic arts reported about the decision to block the accounts of a professional player in FIFA Kurt “Kurt0411“Fenech in all his games. According to the publisher, the gamer for a long time rudely insulted developers and other users through Twitter and YouTube.
In a statement, Electronic Arts reports that Fenech was initially barred from participating in FIFA competitions and attending thematic events because he violated the rules of conduct within the FIFA global series, where he threatened employees, calling them “mediocrity.” This happened last fall (previously Fenech was also punished in 2018, but the conditions were milder). However, the progamer did not stop there and continued to publish tweets with insults to both the creators of the content and the fans of the series, EA noted.
“He crossed the line and violated all possible rules. We will not tolerate such threatening behavior,” the report said.
Earlier, Kurt was also credited with involvement in hacking Twitter accounts of various EA employees.
The player himself does not consider the measures taken by the publisher towards him to be fair and claims that he was banned due to fear – they say, the company was afraid that he would win the competition and become the most successful FIFA streamer.
Over the past two years, Kurt0411, without words, has vehemently criticized Electronic Arts. During one live broadcast, Fenech called his opponent a “son of a bitch” who cannot defeat him “in this garbage game.” Then he sent EA to hell and spat on a scarf with the company logo. When they tried to punish him for this, he said that EA itself had spat on FIFA fans “for the past few years.”
