Earlier this month race Wreckfest received a patch for the Xbox Series X that added 60 FPS support. On the Playstation 5 a similar update did not come out, but, as it turned out, instead developers from Bugbear Entertainment are preparing a full-fledged game port for the new Sony console with even more improvements…
The PS5 version of Wreckfest will offer dynamic dirt on vehicles, improved shadows, particle effects and lighting, as well as hanging quality textures, volumetric light beams, increased vegetation and new skid marks.
In addition, users will experience much faster downloads, support for tactile features of the controller DualSense and support 4K / 60 FPSand up to 24 players can now participate in multiplayer races.
Updated Wreckfest goes on sale 1st June by price 40 dollars. For owners of the game on PS4, a paid upgrade will be available for 10 dollars…
Publisher on Twitter THQ Nordic confirmedthat the “native” reissue of Wreckfest for Xbox series x and Xbox series s will also be, but will appear later this year…
The PS5 version is different from the current version on Xbox One.
On Xbox Series S and X, there was a free update for “Series S | X detection” to support improved graphics.
A “native” Xbox Series S and X version, similar to the PS5 version, will follow later this year.
