Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition was shown in a trailer under a new incendiary track from HYDE

Before the release of the action Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 company Capcom released together with a Japanese rock musician HYDE video for a new music track “Defeat“, written specifically for the re-release of the game.

The video uses game footage with fragments from cutscenes and gameplay with spectacular combat segments for various heroes, including Virgil.

In addition to the playable Vergil, the re-release of Devil May Cry 5 will offer multiple modes of operation with increased resolution and FPS, support for ray tracing, improved 3D sound, faster downloads, Turbo mode with 1.2x faster gameplay, and a new Legendary Dark Knight difficulty level that increases the number of enemies. In addition to this, PlayStation 5 owners will receive support for the tactile features of the DualSense controller and ray tracing at launch, while ray tracing will appear on the Xbox Series X later with a separate patch. At the same time, the DMC5 version for the Series S will remain without improved reflections at all.

The digital release of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will take place simultaneously with the launch of new consoles: 10th November on Xbox Series X / S and 19th November on PlayStation 5. Retail sales will start on December 1st.
