Players threaten to boycott Ubisoft over microtransactions in Assassin’s Creed – Igromania

Most successful series Ubisoft, cycle Assassin’s Creed, is regularly criticized by players. They recently resented the lack of support Assassin’s creed valhalla… And now we have released a petition demanding the removal of the Helix Store from upcoming games.

According to the organizer, the players of the series are fed up with microtransactions, and Ubisoft cannot fail to realize this. The Valhalla release saw the series evolve into a microtransaction selling tool.

Players are especially outraged by the fact that the total cost of goods in the Helix Store is greater than the price of the game itself. However, purchasing a Season Pass does not grant access to in-store items.

The creator of the petition requires Ubisoft to focus on creating in-game challenges in future games, during which various store items could be obtained, which would give an excuse to continue playing. And all players are urged to boycott the Helix Store.

The petition has already been signed by 1,600 people. At the same time, according to analysts, at the start of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the game was bought by 1.7 million. But at the same time, in-game revenue fell 62%.
